How to measure your dog

  1. Measure their length Nose to the base of the tail, while they're lying down naturally.
  2. Add stretch room Add 20–30cm so they can stretch out without hanging over the edge.

The judgment calls

What the calculator can't decide for you

Between sizes? Go up.

No dog has ever complained about too much bed. Sizing up costs a little more; sizing down gets slept on the floor.

Curlers can go snug

If your dog sleeps nose-to-tail in a circle, the smaller end of their range gives that tucked-in, secure feeling.

Sprawlers need space

Legs-out-flat sleepers use every centimetre. Size up, always, the Chelsea reward the extra room.

SIZE WITH CONFIDENCE

Still torn between two sizes? We can help.

Choosing the right bed can be tricky, especially when your dog sits between sizes. When in doubt, we generally recommend going larger so they have enough room to stretch, curl up and sleep comfortably.
